European Neighbours' Day is an initiative of the European Federation of Local Solidarity (E.F.L.S.) Its objective is to foster community cohesion in Europe, by creating networks for exchanges on neighbourly and community practices. www.localsolidarity.com
On 28th September 2009, the E.F.L.S. organised in Paris an International Seminar. More than 130 delegates from 14 different countries were offered the opportunity to exchange on good neighbourly and community practices to enhance social cohesion and solidarity.
